Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Lacasa kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Chile's Francisco Carballar got a free kick in the 5th minute. Johnathan Bowden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Johnathan Bowden sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathan Bowden, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Christof Deroek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Carballar came free, but Christof Deroek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abid Bubalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Selebi-Phikwe's Christof Deroek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Carballar in the 42nd minute of play. Sebastian Quin kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johnathan Bowden was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnathan Bowden in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. In the 65th minute of the match Vlad Tudose shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Pliego showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sebastian Quin made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Felix Garrido. Selebi-Phikwe's Christof Deroek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Selebi-Phikwe from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Johnathan Bowden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johnathan Bowden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Carballar got free with Christof Deroek in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathan Bowden in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th minute Johnathan Bowden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Johnathan Bowden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selebi-Phikwe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnathan Bowden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chile's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
