Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JKs Talanger's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Åkesson in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play forced JKs Talanger's goalkeeper Walter Wallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute of the match JKs Talanger got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Supreme Run ran over to the corner to take the kick. JKs Talanger's Supreme Run was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Walter Wallander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 26th minute. Octavian Basten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Kjell Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Åkesson in the 30th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, JKs Talanger's Kjell Åkesson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roque Lauro in the 42nd minute. JKs Talanger's Walter Wallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play. Kjell Åkesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Åkesson in the 53rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Åkesson in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Walter Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Kjell Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. JKs Talanger made a substitution. Kent Möller replaced Gunther Zapf. The corner led JKs Talanger's Supreme Run to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Octavian Basten notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, Octavian Basten made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Supreme Run took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Åkesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because JKs Talanger had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
