Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Terwenhout in the 10th minute of play. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Limburg United's Joris De Raeve fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 20 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Sean Van Dijck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck did a great save. In the 26th minute, Fredrik Terwenhout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anios Karaoulanis got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Brend Vanden Driessche notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! Fredrik Terwenhout shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Joris De Raeve managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limburg United's supporters rose to their feet, but Joris De Raeve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredrik Terwenhout in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Brend Vanden Driessche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Terwenhout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joris De Raeve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris De Raeve in the 80th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Joris De Raeve notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Limburg United's Fredrik Terwenhout got a free kick in the 84th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris De Raeve in the 86th minute of play. Brend Vanden Driessche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Limburg United were the better team. Limburg United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
