USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Agostinho Negri made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Negri in the 54th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 90th minute of play forced Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Raimo Ülend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Jenson Smith. 94 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Chesney Summers came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
