Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Felix Montenegro to score against Semir Jakubović in Predators's goal. 0-2 after 14 minutes. In the 17thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Predators's Semir Jakubović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çakır Baycan in the 19th minute of play. Çakır Baycan scored 1-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 22 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Semir Jakubović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Cyryl Bojanowski could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. In the 30th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Çakır Baycan was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çakır Baycan in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cyryl Bojanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Predators got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Freitas. When Predators's Çakır Baycan in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Semir Jakubović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Çakır Baycan came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Bojanowski in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Cyryl Bojanowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
