Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karol Ochylski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Dariusz Mochadlo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oceania Rumia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Dariusz Mochadlo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Sawicki came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iwo Sawicki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Siwy in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Sawicki came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Patricio Costa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zygmunt Roman, made in the 80th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Karol Ochylski made a huge save. 86 minutes into the game, Lech Tamulewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oceania Rumia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Venezuela made a substitution. Enrique Pozo replaced Jose Correa. Lech Tamulewicz hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Oceania Rumia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result.
