Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Estebe got free with Julio Vera in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Hanot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Nantwich getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Örjan Berggren hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Hanot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Hanot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Enrique Hanot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nantwich's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Hanot came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Fevang might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Fevang ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Fevang. André Fevang's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Julio Vera on his right side and into the goal. 40 minutes into the game it was 1-0. 45 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Estebe came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Hanot having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Örjan Berggren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Estebe in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, Nantwich's Enrique Hanot got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nantwich made a substitution. Florian Ziemba replaced Frazer Fordham. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Enrique Hanot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 81st minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 林悦傲 in the 82nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Daniel Zorita sped through Nantwich's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enrique Hanot. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Hanot.
