Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Răzvan Mumuleanu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 13th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pompiliu Zmărăndescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Gheorghe Herea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gheorghe Herea in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Brink's Pompiliu Zmărăndescu. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Luis Andino had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Romeo Balint fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Brink's protests and gave Romeo Balint a yellow card for diving instead. Ecuador made a substitution. Diego Mancebo replaced Luis Andino. Romeo Balint kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, FC Brink was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Priest to maneuver through the defense. When Gheorghe Herea fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Brink's protests and gave Gheorghe Herea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Brink getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gheorghe Herea hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gheorghe Herea. Flavius Orescu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Mancebo in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gheorghe Herea to strike the kick off in the second half. Răzvan Mumuleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Herea in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Brink was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Herea didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Brink were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jair Bostan took the corner. After 64 minutes of play FC Brink's Romeo Balint was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 64th minute, Romeo Balint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Răzvan Mumuleanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Pompiliu Zmărăndescu made a huge save. Jair Bostan kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes FC Brink's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavius Orescu during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Brink getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Flavius Orescu hit a great ball. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute of play. After 93 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu was left in no man's land by his defense there!
