Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Berganza. KOCAELİSPOR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zachary Bienienda in the 6th minute. KOCAELİSPOR's Zachary Bienienda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the game's 7th minute KOCAELİSPOR's Zachary Bienienda took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Rolando Noboa and thus the score was 1-0. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Demirci in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to KOCAELİSPOR getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Zachary Bienienda hit a great ball. If Ömer Demirci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Şemsettin Tuyuğ didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Demirci in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 40th minute of play forced KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Luz Tejedor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Aykut Nadi hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After 53 minutes KOCAELİSPOR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Demirci in the 58th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Ömer Demirci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. KOCAELİSPOR's Davut Erek was substituted for Boğaçhan Tanır. In the 69th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şemsettin Tuyuğ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st match minute, KOCAELİSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Bâru to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Claris in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Davut Erek threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 90th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Aşır Zabit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KOCAELİSPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2.
