Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wagn Nytoft in the 35th minute of the match. Gerhart Krainert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Gerhart Krainert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Gerhart Krainert was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Lautaro Mancebo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lautaro Mancebo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. 59 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerhart Krainert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sletteenge's goalkeeper Gerhart Krainert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gerhart Krainert came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 71st minute. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Sletteenge made a substitution. Torsten Akselvad replaced Wilhelm Blegvad. 87 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Liktensteen came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ibrahim Svolgart charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ibrahim Svolgart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sletteenge getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ibrahim Svolgart hit a great ball. The supporters of Mexico booed when Sletteenge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Fridolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes Sletteenge got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Akselvad. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timo Mangelsen during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Timo Mangelsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torsten Akselvad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
