In the 18th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Grimalschi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Grimalschi saved UFC Puturoasa from getting behind. After a rather tough play, UFC Puturoasa's Mihai Briceag got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, UFC Puturoasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruslan Blanari to maneuver through the defense. Anton Grimalschi came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 26th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jude Bellingham fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Puturoasa's protests and gave Jude Bellingham a yellow card for diving instead. The attack was good, but when Cristian Ronaldo in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The wind increased when Cristian Ronaldo made the kick off in the second half. If Ruslan Blanari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Dan Burduf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UFC Puturoasa were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victor Grimalschi took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Victor Grimalschi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anton Grimalschi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Anton Grimalschi made a huge save. When Cristian Ronaldo fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Puturoasa's protests and gave Cristian Ronaldo a yellow card for diving instead. 88 minutes into the game, Dan Burduf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UFC Puturoasa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Dan Burduf kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
