Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Espiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, Hugo Bender mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASC South United and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute of the game Frits de Boer made a throw-in which Pascall van Galen played forward. In the 9th minute, ASC South United's Hugo Bender dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Pascall van Galen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Milagros Cabal's late challenge caught a ASC South United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Milagros Cabal helped the player get up and apologised. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 19th minute of play forced ASC South United's goalkeeper Erwin Teesing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Hugo Bender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erwin Teesing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Erwin Teesing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ASC South United's Taco Scholte got a free kick in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taco Scholte during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Honduras booed when ASC South United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taco Scholte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frits de Boer kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Taco Scholte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erwin Teesing was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. The supporters of Honduras booed when ASC South United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf van der Saar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erwin Teesing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 88th minute of play. During the 94th minute of the match Hugo Bender completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hugo Bender a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 95th minute, Hugo Bender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Honduras's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Honduras may have spent more time on the ball, but ASC South United were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
