Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Eliézer de Queirós scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute of the match, Jailson Barral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fran Guerola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fran Guerola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Luca Zorita made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Fran Guerola managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 21st minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fran Guerola in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. If Åke Kilman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 31st minute of play forced S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper Fran Guerola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Jailson Barral scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 2-0. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Battal Gazi Bey in the 36th minute. Fran Guerola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Eliézer de Queirós slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. Patrick Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fran Guerola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fran Guerola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Eliézer de Queirós notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper Fran Guerola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Barral in the 66th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper Fran Guerola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 72nd minute. S O B E R A N O CIMZ made a substitution. Dito Guedes replaced Battal Gazi Bey. After 73 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. In the 74th minute of the match Ruddi Berendsen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fran Guerola in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Åke Kilman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Fran Guerola in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Luca Zorita hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fran Guerola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. Fran Guerola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 95th minute of play.
