Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Noboa in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Árpád Sebes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Árpád Sebes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 12th minute Lautaro Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Árpád Sebes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Puig charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lautaro Puig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Dániel Böde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dániel Böde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 20 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. Árpád Sebes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tamás Galambos in the 27th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Kakucs FC's Dániel Böde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kakucs FC's Dániel Böde got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tamás Galambos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Kakucs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Setúbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Árpád Sebes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Alcocer in the 44th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Kakucs FC got a freekick which was hit by João Setúbal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Árpád Sebes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Floyd Hasselbaink made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. If Tamás Galambos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dániel Böde in the 65th minute of play. Dániel Böde might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dániel Böde ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Árpád Sebes having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. Dániel Böde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Galambos in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Tamás Galambos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kakucs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tamás Galambos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dániel Böde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dániel Böde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 minutes of play, Kakucs FC's Tamás Galambos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Kakucs FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
