Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Dusett in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Boca Juniors were awarded a corner. Dimitris Panagiotakis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Boca Juniors's Dimitris Panagiotakis to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Lindholm in the 53rd minute of play. Oscar Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milagros Fraga couldn't finish the play. Boca Juniors made a substitution.
