The Bozkurt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arda Göksel Yalman should have stopped the shot. Bozkurt's Ferdi Kadıoğlu was substituted for Ive Tobbackers. The Underdogs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Philippe Albert ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of The Underdogs's goalie and right to Olgierd Literski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. The Underdogs's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 97th play minute Kai Havertz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jan Wessel. 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
