Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Vivaldo Fernandes took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when GynBsb's Fellipe Cosme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tiso Posse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Vivaldo Fernandes took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 26 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tiso Posse came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Fernandes in the 30th minute of play. Fellipe Cosme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Fellipe Cosme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fellipe Cosme really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After 40 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Secada. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fellipe Cosme got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Fellipe Cosme got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 5-0. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when GynBsb's Fellipe Cosme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Costa to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Kauan Pena notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Cosme in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filipe Brito was slow to take the kick. During this time GynBsb's players had a chance to rest. Filipe Brito made a great header on GynBsb's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Tiso Posse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Fernandes in the 71st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
