Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Modlau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Barry McCray sent off a good shot on target. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lew Yashin having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Salazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Lew Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modlau were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Barry McCray took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dominic Salazar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Modlau's Dominic Salazar in 28 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Dante Lacasa guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Lew Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lew Yashin quite easily take care of the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lew Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 37th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Modlau got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Salazar. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Lew Yashin. Modlau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry McCray in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Fioravanti to make the kick off. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry McCray in the 56th minute of the match. Joel Gaona scored 1-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lew Yashin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 67 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. Modlau's Damazy Jucha was substituted for Jarmo Laik. The supporters of Modlau booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Jucha in the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Salazar came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 75th playminute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry McCray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modlau made a substitution. Zula Sanocki replaced Toni Kroos. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 82nd minute. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Modlau's Lew Yashin managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Modlau defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lew Yashin. The Modlau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lew Yashin should have stopped the shot. The Modlau fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
