Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryanne Kinnaird in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Thomas Grandison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hetem Paloka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bryanne Kinnaird did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Thiago Pliego 21 minutes into the match. Hetem Paloka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Mariano Lacasa put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hetem Paloka. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Grandison, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hetem Paloka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Polonia Division's Hetem Paloka. Hetem Paloka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Carballar to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hetem Paloka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 41st minute of play. After the first half Chile were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vibar Vërçuni in the 57th minute of play. Hetem Paloka came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Polonia Division's goalkeeper Hetem Paloka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erando Palla in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Dori Dhima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Chile booed when Polonia Division was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dori Dhima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chile's Mariano Lacasa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hetem Paloka but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Hetem Paloka in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Polonia Division's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Mariano Lacasa scored to the left of an out of position Hetem Paloka, making the score, 1-4. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Polonia Division's goalkeeper Hetem Paloka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Geovânio Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Geovânio Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. With a little luck, Polonia Division's Hetem Paloka got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geovânio Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryanne Kinnaird in the 92nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
