Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pinki Pied in the 3rd minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Pinki Pied who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Luca Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pinki Pied in the 16th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Pinki Pied came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Tre Starka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ola Björklund to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 25 minutes Tre Starka's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Mexico's Luca Zorita getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 25 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Galloway in the 30th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 39th minute of the game was made by Macos Graciani with Luca Zorita as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Mexico were furious when Lorenzo Cazalla was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 47 minutes into the game, one of Mexico:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Tre Starka a penalty, 51 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dragoş Berbec, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

56 minutes into the game, Bennvar Galloway cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 60th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Galloway, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tre Starka's Vukašin Hadžiđulbić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 67th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pinki Pied in the 68th minute of the match. Kent Martinsson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vukašin Hadžiđulbić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frans Qvarnström kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Tre Starka's Torbjörn Löfgren was substituted for Per-Oskar Ålberg. In the 82nd match minute, Tre Starka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Qvarnström to maneuver through the defense. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frans Qvarnström hit a great freekick 100 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Tre Starka's Vukašin Hadžiđulbić got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line.
