The supporters of Mexico booed when ASD Real Molinella 1911 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Mangra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kong Bo Ning in the 22nd minute of the match. Mehmet Kerem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Kerem having to interfere. ASD Real Molinella 1911's Mehmet Kerem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 30th minute of play. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Kerem. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehmet Kerem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 41st minute of the match. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mexico! Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Lorenzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Lautaro Mancebo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 64 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Kong Bo Ning came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Kerem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 74th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Kerem was left in no man's land by his defense there! Segundo Balaunde hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Macos Graciani got a free kick in the 87th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Talamo in the 89th minute of play. The corner ended in Segundo Balaunde almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. After having played for 95 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
