The audience was convinced that Ignacio Mastache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samir Afacan was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Colombia's Santino Seco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samir Afacan. Samir Afacan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-3. Many of Colombia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Colombia may have spent more time on the ball, but Beşiktaş çArşı were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
