Alexandros Peropoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barrialito AFC's Wang Feng got a free kick in the 7th minute. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Barrialito AFC's Alexandros Peropoulos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 13th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Alexandros Peropoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandros Peropoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Frasco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Alexandros Peropoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Barrialito AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barrialito AFC's Aquiles Beat was substituted for Alexandros Peropoulos. 90 minutes into the match, Aquiles Beat notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Barrialito AFC were the better team. Barrialito AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
