Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Mean Machine were awarded a corner. Nikos Stasinos went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Carles Pujol got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nedim Emekli struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mean Machine. In the 8th minute Nedim Emekli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Nedim Emekli came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Archibaldo Peñaranda might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Archibaldo Peñaranda ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nedim Emekli in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Menios Chloros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Menios Chloros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes Mean Machine's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Nedim Emekli took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Makris in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Mean Machine's Carles Pujol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mean Machine's Nedim Emekli. But to his dismay, Nedim Emekli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedim Emekli in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Nedim Emekli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nedim Emekli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Miltos Makris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniil Bonoris made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. Menios Chloros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Costa's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Mean Machine's Nedim Emekli in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Mean Machine's Archibaldo Peñaranda. But to his dismay, Archibaldo Peñaranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Mean Machine made a substitution. Agnaldo Braga replaced Archibaldo Peñaranda. Mean Machine's Luca Milivojević was substituted for Lakis Mantarinakis. Nedim Emekli might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nedim Emekli ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nedim Emekli, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Nedim Emekli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nedim Emekli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Nedim Emekli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nedim Emekli in the 77th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Menios Chloros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Nedim Emekli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Menios Chloros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedim Emekli in the 91st minute of play. Menios Chloros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 95th minute. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
