Otto Kartasasmita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Galnares in the 9th minute of the match. After some careless play in the RACIN DE CHAWEN defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Pedriza. The RACIN DE CHAWEN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Pedriza should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 16th minute of play forced RACIN DE CHAWEN's goalkeeper Marco Pedriza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Verdeja came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. RACIN DE CHAWEN's Donzel Sobera was substituted for Tulio Mangas. Marco Pedriza came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Ignacio Mastache. But to his dismay, Ignacio Mastache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Galnares in the 72nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marcelino Verdeja came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the RACIN DE CHAWEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Verdeja couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Galnares in the 76th minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, RACIN DE CHAWEN's Rufo Serra made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Galnares in the 91st minute of play. In the 97th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, RACIN DE CHAWEN's Rufo Serra got a free kick in the 97th minute. In the 98th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Pedriza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RACIN DE CHAWEN were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
