Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Severino Furman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Enrique Sedeni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, 1989 Blxsk's Marcos Ekhi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Severino Furman hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Marcos Ekhi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enrique Sedeni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Enrique Sedeni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. After 45 minutes of play Mexico's Luca Zorita was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 46th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Furman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Furman, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Enrique Sedeni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Sedeni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 57th minute of the match. A hard shot 59 in the game by Felix Luque from a close distance when the talented Enrique Sedeni managed to make a qualified save. 1989 Blxsk's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Facundo Cadaval got free with Enrique Sedeni in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Miguel Godoy notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When 1989 Blxsk's Miguel Godoy in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Luca Rouco was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Mexico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 1989 Blxsk:s goal. Marcos Ekhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Enrique Sedeni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Marcos Ekhi scored 4-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute Guo Xi Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but 1989 Blxsk were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
