Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Yağızalp Özerkmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Los Tatangelos's Dündar Ülkenur fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adérito Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Lucjan Zdanowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yağızalp Özerkmen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Waldemar Zaremba, made in the 44th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Yağızalp Özerkmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 55th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Yağızalp Özerkmen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Lucjan Zdanowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucjan Zdanowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucjan Zdanowicz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Los Tatangelos's Yağızalp Özerkmen got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dündar Ülkenur went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Los Tatangelos's Lucjan Zdanowicz got a free kick in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Los Tatangelos's Yağızalp Özerkmen. Yağızalp Özerkmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Tatangelos fully deserved thier win.
