The referee showed Francisco Gallo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Gallo. In the 26th minute Mario Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 温渊岚 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alfredo Ferrant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 温渊岚 having to interfere. Eduardo Fontirroig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 温渊岚 having to make a save. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 莫轩光, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Fontirroig to maneuver through the defense. 秦晨战 kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Mario Fernandino from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got 温渊岚's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to 西亚卡姆加小卡 getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. 秦晨战 hit a great ball. 罗海国 hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes, 西亚卡姆加小卡's 洪诚风 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camilo Freixa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 西亚卡姆加小卡 reached it. After 89 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Ferrant. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
