Luix Nicola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luix Nicola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ríver Late's Luix Nicola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Ríver Late's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Felix Montenegro to score against Luix Nicola in Ríver Late's goal. 0-2 after 9 minutes. 12 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luix Nicola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luix Nicola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Luix Nicola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Ríver Late's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 20 minutes into the game, Xizavier Cladera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ríver Late's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play forced Ríver Late's goalkeeper Luix Nicola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luix Nicola in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luix Nicola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luix Nicola. Luix Nicola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Luix Nicola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luix Nicola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luix Nicola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osoitz Baron was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luix Nicola having to interfere. Luix Nicola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luix Nicola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luix Nicola came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luix Nicola having to interfere. Luix Nicola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 69th minute, Xizavier Cladera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Luix Nicola to make any attempt to save it. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Felix Montenegro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ríver Late's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Luix Nicola, making the score, 0-9. 85 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luix Nicola, 0-10. In the 94th play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luix Nicola. 0-11. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ríver Late throughout the match.
