Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Frank Berggren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Sven-Ove Lövgren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Berggren got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Gösta Gustafsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Småland Utd's Frank Berggren. But to his dismay, Frank Berggren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 25 minutes into the game, Småland Utd's Frank Berggren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 31st minute of the match, Arman Hansson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Ove Lövgren kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Jonathan Venegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Småland Utd the free kick. A nice corner shot did that Gösta Gustafsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Småland Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Småland Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Svanér didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Sven-Ove Lövgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Frank Berggren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Småland Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Småland Utd getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Stig-Arne Harlén hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Berggren in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Småland Utd's goalkeeper Joacim Hultman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 73 minutes Småland Utd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. In the 76th minute, Frank Berggren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Sven-Ove Lövgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Småland Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Ove Lövgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Småland Utd booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim Hultman having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Algot Brask stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Algot Brask tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Sven-Ove Lövgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
