The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pontus Jönsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Pawel Czysta sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Milagros Fraga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pontus Jönsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 17 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tanek Czerner. Napalone surykatki's Pontus Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of play. After 27 played minutes Napalone surykatki got a freekick which was hit by Gregor Famelen. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Luz Tejedor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Luz Tejedor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pontus Jönsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Peru booed when Napalone surykatki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 41st minute of play forced Napalone surykatki's goalkeeper Pontus Jönsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Napalone surykatki's Pontus Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 42nd minute of play. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Pontus Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Beniamin Jaraczewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Beniamin Jaraczewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beniamin Jaraczewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Pontus Jönsson in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Tanek Czerner came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pontus Jönsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 86 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Prats. 87 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Beniamin Jaraczewski came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Bon Giorno threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 95 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Tanek Czerner came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru played a much better game than Napalone surykatki and deserved their victory. The Napalone surykatki players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
