In the 3rd minute, Jun Misugi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sconvols United's Luiz Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Angelo Di Salvatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Willian Siqueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sconvols United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. A collision led to Sconvols United getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Willian Siqueira hit a great ball. Luiz Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Faria in the 26th minute. Shingo Aoi kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Villa in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Di Salvatore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 30 played minutes Sconvols United got a freekick which was hit by Shingo Aoi. 31 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 33 minutes into the game, Ivan Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sconvols United the free kick. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sconvols United's Angelo Di Salvatore. Angelo Di Salvatore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Sconvols United's Luiz Faria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sconvols United.
