Geroy Ascue didn't get a good kick on the ball. Finlay Stair might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonny Almqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Finlay Stair ran back to his position shaking his head. If Eddie Jönsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Beck in the 23rd minute of play. Finlay Stair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Almqvist having to interfere. If Jarell Hill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eddie Jönsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarell Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Almqvist having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Karlus Waugh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamaica's supporters rose to their feet, but Karlus Waugh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonny Almqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus Waller hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Robin Beck made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a free kick in the 51st minute. Eddie Jönsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute Robin Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Jamaall Padmore got a free kick in the 56th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Eddie Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hudiksvalls United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddie Jönsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Jonny Almqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leron Sale. When Hudiksvalls United's Robin Beck in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hudiksvalls United's Sebastian Christoffersson got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Leron Sale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jamaica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hudiksvalls United the free kick. In the 70th minute, Leron Sale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Christoffersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Wayan Freeman charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wayan Freeman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Wayan Freeman. When Marcus Waller came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Hudiksvalls United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Waller couldn't finish the play. Marcus Waller took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Romon Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hudiksvalls United fully deserved thier win.
