An unexpectedly hard shot by Mirko Saßmannshausen in the 4th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Eisenberg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wolfgang Schui in the 5th minute. Matthias Tilk was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Wolfgang Schui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Eisenberg's goalkeeper Bastian Abel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 15 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bastian Abel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 21st minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bastian Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Eisenberg booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes FC Eisenberg got a freekick which was hit by Folko Meckelburg. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bastian Abel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Bastian Abel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ecuador's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mirko Saßmannshausen 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wolfgang Schui who took care of the corner kick. Wolfgang Schui made a great header on FC Eisenberg's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirko Saßmannshausen in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match FC Eisenberg got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wolfgang Schui ran over to the corner to take the kick. Folko Meckelburg was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Bastian Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bastian Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute of play. Bastian Abel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 69 minute of play. With a little luck, FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Montes's late challenge caught a FC Eisenberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montes helped the player get up and apologised. 79 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Mirko Saßmannshausen:s penalty. 80 minutes into the game, Mirko Saßmannshausen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Bastian Abel. FC Eisenberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. A collision led to FC Eisenberg getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Friedrich Reubold hit a great ball. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC Eisenberg had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
