A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stergios Koutsodimos. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Stergios Koutsodimos sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Villamarina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Vinciguerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Kobe De Mees hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kobe De Mees fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 25th minute Valentin Petrochenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stergios Koutsodimos in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Kobe De Mees ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciro Oberrauch who took care of the corner kick. Villamarina AFC were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Oberrauch took the corner. The supporters of Villamarina AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ciro Oberrauch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villamarina AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Oberrauch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stergios Koutsodimos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 46th playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Stergios Koutsodimos made the kick off in the second half. Carlo Ciccone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Kobe De Mees left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villamarina AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Emanuele Primavera kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stergios Koutsodimos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Stergios Koutsodimos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 78 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jonathan Ferrant was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Oberrauch might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Oberrauch ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stergios Koutsodimos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Petrochenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Villamarina AFC's Stergios Koutsodimos. But to his dismay, Stergios Koutsodimos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kobe De Mees in the 94th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stergios Koutsodimos, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
