Ulf Granström kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Lüleburgazspor's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Tayyar Sanih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mexico's Joel Gaona, in the 13th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Tayyar Sanih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 15th minute of the match. Hayati Başkaya hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Enes Hezarfen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tayyar Sanih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Lüleburgazspor's Tayyar Sanih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of play. Joel Gaona scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tayyar Sanih, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Lüleburgazspor's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Tayyar Sanih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Lüleburgazspor's Enes Hezarfen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Enes Hezarfen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lüleburgazspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Enes Hezarfen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enes Hezarfen took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayyar Sanih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lüleburgazspor's Tayyar Sanih proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Lüleburgazspor from getting a goal against them. In the 65th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Enes Hezarfen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Lüleburgazspor's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Tayyar Sanih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Enes Hezarfen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enes Hezarfen in the 83rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tayyar Sanih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The supporters of Lüleburgazspor booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball.
