Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alex Chicote made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SARI ZEYBEK's Abayhan Şencan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Resul Satvet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Resul Satvet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, SARI ZEYBEK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Resul Satvet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Guillermo Mariano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Resul Satvet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Venezuela booed when SARI ZEYBEK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Talip Aktemur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Resul Satvet in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Resul Satvet. Resul Satvet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Resul Satvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Correa in the 66th minute of the match. Salvador Gisbert made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SARI ZEYBEK's Abayhan Şencan. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Resul Satvet made a huge save. After 78 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. SARI ZEYBEK's Resul Satvet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of SARI ZEYBEK's Resul Satvet. Resul Satvet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Resul Satvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 96th minute of play. Venezuela played a much better game than SARI ZEYBEK and deserved their victory. The SARI ZEYBEK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
