Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Agustin Barrantes kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Miguel Volio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play forced CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Ernesto Monge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Barrantes in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Agustin Barrantes made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Barrantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Barrantes. Ernesto Monge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustin Barrantes in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CS La Libertad's Agustin Barrantes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ernesto Monge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Rodrigo Lobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Lobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Barrantes came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Rodrigo Lobo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Ernesto Monge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Monge having to interfere. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by CS La Libertad's Agustin Barrantes. But to his dismay, Agustin Barrantes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ernesto Monge could save by the left post. İbrahim Efe Ergener's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, CS La Libertad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İbrahim Efe Ergener to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Andino during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. CS La Libertad were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
