In the 26th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonidas Stelopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Hangovers FC got a freekick which was hit by Vaios Toskas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 30th minute of play forced Hangovers FC's goalkeeper Leonidas Stelopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, Hangovers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaios Toskas to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonidas Stelopoulos saved Hangovers FC from getting behind. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 35th minute. Christian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonidas Stelopoulos having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonidas Stelopoulos saved Hangovers FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Stelios Kyriakiou took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it.

Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Leonidas Stelopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 59th minute when Edmundo Espiga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelios Kyriakiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 62nd minute, Stelios Kyriakiou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Stelios Kyriakiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 68 minutes, Stelios Kyriakiou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hangovers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stelios Kyriakiou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 minutes of play, Hangovers FC's Charis Ververis made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonidas Stelopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Antonis Dimis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Stelios Kyriakiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Hangovers FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Moises Tafalla scored to the left of an out of position Leonidas Stelopoulos, making the score, 4-2. Honduras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
