Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Mancinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Gabbro FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Antonio Ciraci hit a great ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alessandro Mancinelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alessandro Mancinelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessandro Mancinelli saved Gabbro FC from getting behind. Edvard Slæggerup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Mancinelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, Gabbro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Langsford to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alessandro Mancinelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a defensive mix-up in Gabbro FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Mancinelli came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, one of Gabbro FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gabbro FC. Alessandro Mancinelli had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Edvard Slæggerup tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugenio Casadei hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Alessandro Mancinelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvard Slæggerup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Gabbro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alessandro Mancinelli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 45th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Edvard Slæggerup who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Alessandro Mancinelli in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Gabbro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli managed to reach the ball for a save. Fedele Di Prinzio might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fedele Di Prinzio ran back to his position shaking his head. If Edvard Slæggerup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. The Gabbro FC fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Gabbro FC's Edvard Slæggerup looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gabbro FC.
