After having played for 9 minutes, Ferdi Dekens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zijdewind SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdi Dekens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Covarrubias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Meyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Zijdewind SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniël De Leeuw didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primitivo Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute Rein van Steensel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Meyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudi den Hartog hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Jaime Pardo made the kick off in the second half. Rein van Steensel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. After 59 minutes, Pieter-Jan van der Laan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zijdewind SC and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zijdewind SC's Pieter-Jan van der Laan got a free kick in the 59th minute. Hector Covarrubias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Leon Meyer made a huge save. Ferdi Dekens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rob Deiman in the 64th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdi Dekens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Zijdewind SC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rob Deiman hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the game, Zijdewind SC's Ferdi Dekens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Primitivo Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Ferdi Dekens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Ferdi Dekens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Leon Meyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rein van Steensel in the 96th minute of the match. Paraguay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Zijdewind SC had won, even though Paraguay had held more of the ball.
