Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotil Maroto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play forced Besów SSA's goalkeeper Sotil Maroto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Teofila in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Receanu in the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Besów SSA's Jimmy Millera got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Besów SSA's Sotil Maroto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of play. When Mikolaj Marajda fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Besów SSA's protests and gave Mikolaj Marajda a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Besów SSA got a freekick which was hit by Mikolaj Marajda. After some careless play in the Besów SSA defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sotil Maroto. The Besów SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sotil Maroto should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Jimmy Millera's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmy Millera helped the player get up and apologised. Besów SSA's Marcin Sierocki was substituted for Mikolaj Marajda. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sotil Maroto quite easily take care of the ball. After 65 minutes, Krzysztof Literski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Besów SSA and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Besów SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krzysztof Literski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sotil Maroto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ecuador. 85 minutes into the match, Valentin Receanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Receanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Felix Montes a yellow card for diving instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ecuador walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
