Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Costică Glăvan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When bullfinches's Liviu Zubaşcu, in the 13th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for bullfinches. A collision led to bullfinches getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Petru Văidianu hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Surdilă came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Liviu Zubaşcu lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. After 27th play minutes Tomas Illescas shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Nistor Sfetcu and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olimpiu Pantiș got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Liviu Zubaşcu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The bullfinches fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Liviu Zubaşcu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. bullfinches's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liviu Zubaşcu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. bullfinches's Costică Glăvan got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 59th minute. Joshua Secada hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Zubaşcu in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Nistor Sfetcu made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, bullfinches's Costică Glăvan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nistor Sfetcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liviu Zubaşcu's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Eusebiu Surdilă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a bullfinches's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes, bullfinches's Aron Costea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in bullfinches reached it. A collision led to bullfinches getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Aron Costea hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. bullfinches fully deserved thier win.
