Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leszek Huchro. Leszek Huchro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, BESTIA GDAŃSK's Albert Remus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by BESTIA GDAŃSK's Bartosz Gad. But to his dismay, Bartosz Gad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, BESTIA GDAŃSK's Cyryl Tyszka got a free kick in the 19th minute. Szymon Maziarski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Ecuador's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Szymon Maziarski 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leszek Huchro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after BESTIA GDAŃSK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Leszek Huchro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. BESTIA GDAŃSK's Leszek Huchro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Andino lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The wind increased when Cristian Sancho made the kick off in the second half. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Luis Andino got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-2. 53 minutes into the match. Albert Remus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Jozef Goegebeur shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Maziarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, BESTIA GDAŃSK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jozef Goegebeur to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Bartosz Gad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. 69 minutes into the match, Albert Remus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albert Remus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Andrzejewski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartosz Gad in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After having played for 81 minutes, Albert Remus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BESTIA GDAŃSK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Remus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, BESTIA GDAŃSK's Abdulbaki Tanay got a free kick in the 87th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when BESTIA GDAŃSK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Gad didn't get a good kick on the ball.
