Gunde Omaro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Luca Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniel Canto quite easily take care of the ball. In the 12th minute, Gunde Omaro FC's Ahmet Ozan Sayılgan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ünsal Palabıyık showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 16 minute of play. Daniel Canto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Celal Suer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Ozan Sayılgan in the 28th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ozan Sayılgan in the 30th minute of play. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Canto having to interfere. Facundo Cadaval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Canto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Ozan Sayılgan came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eşref Budak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Ozan Sayılgan in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Lautaro Mancebo sped through Gunde Omaro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Canto.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Gunde Omaro FC's Daniel Canto got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Daniel Canto to make any attempt to save it. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Gunde Omaro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Daniel Canto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daniel Canto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celal Suer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Daniel Canto made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Daniel Canto in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Canto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Alberto Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ozan Sayılgan in the 83rd minute of the match. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
