Frans Van Caubergen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 4 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silver Squad AFC the free kick. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. If Damazy Radzyminski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Litenboks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silver Squad AFC's Benjamin Carberry got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 21st minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Loid De Keuster sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Henrik Ooms was slow to take the kick. During this time Silver Squad AFC's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loid De Keuster in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Waud De Geyter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them.

Loid De Keuster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Silver Squad AFC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loid De Keuster in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Silver Squad AFC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waud De Geyter came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waud De Geyter made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Ecuador players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Silver Squad AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
