Daniel Canto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Gunde Omaro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Felix Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gunde Omaro FC's Daniel Canto did a great save. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Ahmet Ozan Sayılgan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Canto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Ünsal Palabıyık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes Gunde Omaro FC got a freekick which was hit by Şahap Kutlay. In the 42nd minute of the match, Celal Suer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Canto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Gunde Omaro FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Canto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 51st minute of play. After 53 played minutes Gunde Omaro FC got a freekick which was hit by Ünsal Palabıyık. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Ünsal Palabıyık left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gunde Omaro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Canto having to make a save. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniel Canto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ünsal Palabıyık in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celal Suer in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nike 陈真 kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Daniel Canto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 93rd minute.
