Matviy Pavleschuk was extremely unlucky when he, in the 3rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 12 minutes into the match, Синій's Matviy Pavleschuk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Matviy Pavleschuk sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, Raul Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22nd play minutes Matviy Pavleschuk shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Jacobo Nores and just under the crossbar into goal. 25 minutes into the game, Alan Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Синій the free kick. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Alan Campos got a free kick in the 25th minute. Lev Nazarchuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Lev Nazarchuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Синій's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergiy Lepyavko came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 44th minute of play forced Синій's goalkeeper Sergiy Lepyavko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lev Nazarchuk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lev Nazarchuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Matviy Pavleschuk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lev Nazarchuk in the 58th minute of play. Lev Nazarchuk struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Синій. In the 69th minute Lev Nazarchuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Синій was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orest Tovt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sergiy Lepyavko but with some difficulty. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Matviy Pavleschuk sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lev Nazarchuk in the 90th minute of play. Sergiy Lepyavko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Paraguay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Синій had won, even though Paraguay had held more of the ball.
