In the 19th minute of the game Jenson Smith made a throw-in which Monty Rogers played forward. 25 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when C.J. Braut Haaland came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well done corner resulted in Paco Macho drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind USA's goalkeeper. After a rather tough play, Real Llull de Reus's Qin Xiao got a free kick in the 35th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monty Rogers in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sabri Erdoğan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When C.J. Braut Haaland came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Real Llull de Reus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that C.J. Braut Haaland couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when C.J. Braut Haaland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Erdoğan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. In the 72nd minute, Sansone Poso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Monty Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Sansone Poso scored 2-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Sabri Erdoğan in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Khalid Parry had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sabri Erdoğan. Real Llull de Reus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Khalid Parry was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4.
