The referee ignored Goth Cloudy Experience's protests and gave Rômulo Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Goth Cloudy Experience was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rômulo Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita succeeded in the game's 6th minute to get real power on a long shot . Goth Cloudy Experience's Kléber Motta hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! After a defensive mix-up in Goth Cloudy Experience's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléber Motta came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Goth Cloudy Experience was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kléber Motta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Víktor Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Leme in the 22nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 36 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kléber Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléber Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 42nd minute, Lino Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The Goth Cloudy Experience players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

In the 53rd minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kléber Motta. The goal made the score 0-4. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Goth Cloudy Experience's goalkeeper Kléber Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Kléber Motta made a huge save. With a little luck, Goth Cloudy Experience's Kléber Motta got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kléber Motta. Kléber Motta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Motta having to interfere. Kléber Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Fellipe Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Goth Cloudy Experience's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Kléber Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes Goth Cloudy Experience's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Goth Cloudy Experience's Kléber Motta managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 83rd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kléber Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Motta having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Goth Cloudy Experience's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Kléber Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
